It must have been around 2013 when I first started getting infatuated with the idea of buying high-tech travel clothing for my eventual escape from London.
There wasn’t much on my shopping list.
After I came back from Asia at the end of 2016, my collection grew quite rapidly. I had the aspiration to be out in the world, testing all the things I bought and writing about them here.
My little treasure trove of travel clothes and trinkets has been buried away in a corner of the family home for years now, most of those items so old now they either outlasted the companies that made them, or have been replaced by their newer siblings and latest iterations.
I think that maybe there’s little value in reviewing those relics.
But the bright-eyed boy that I was 10 years ago dreamt about it.
And for his sake, I’m gonna try my best to make that dream come true.
